The Junior Account Executive Opportunity:

The Junior Account Executive will work within a talented and friendly team, alongside a Senior Account Executive and a Junior Account Manager – the team report in to the two Directors of the business, who have ambitious plans for company growth and currently act as the Account Directors on the accounts. 

They will work on stunning luxury lifestyle accounts including tourist boards, five star hotels both overseas and in the UK, as well as Michelin starred restaurants, destination campaigns and a UK designer.

Qualifications and Skills:

The selected candidate will


+ Be proactive, self-motivated and professional
+ Be results driven with a proven record of working to targets and KPIs
+ Be a fast, efficient worker with a strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills – an eager learner, thriving in a buzzy, fast paced culture 
+ Have a strong interest in media and influencer contacts – be social, personable and cultured
+ Be passionate about communications and the media first and foremost, with their interest in the luxury lifestyle sector being a secondary, but still important factor
+ Be an expert pitcher (media meetings and phone pitching) and with an eye for a story
+ Have a track record in working well with third parties 
+ Be a team player - friendly and with a positive attitude – as well as working well autonomously
+ Be well trained to JAE level
+ Be confident at managing up and also nurturing and training interns
+ Have event experience 

Responsibilities and Duties:

Administrative/agency operations:


+ Follows through efficiently on actions and effective at prioritising
+ Advises management of deadlines and expectations
+ Understands and interested in growing knowledge of business objectives
+ Plans and manages own time; uses time reporting accurately
+ Becomes an ambassador for company within the wider industry
+ Draft and update strategy and content for social media, blog and newsletters and generate campaign ideas and collaborations
+ Oversee and where needed execute agency social media strategy daily
+ Oversees that the daily running of the office is managed by Intern
+ Oversees the intern process from hiring to exit interview
+ Mentors Intern

Client services:

+ Becomes a key day-to-day point of contact for some clients
+ Demonstrates knowledge of the client’s competitive landscape and industry sector
+ Demonstrates effective use of internal resources – skills, knowledge, service.
+ Provides consistent service delivery to clients
+ Contributes via value-add initiatives, generates new ideas
+ Draft strategy and content for social media content calendars and generate ideas
+ Engage influencers and cultivate contacts with bloggers to utilise on the client’s behalf
+ Demonstrates a strong understanding of key social media applications - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest in a business context and analysis (or any other important social channel for clients)
+ Meets with one to two media per week for client briefings
