The Role

* Day to day you will supervise a small team of people, you will work to maintain department facilities, standards of presentation and levels of service to a level that achieves and exceeds customer expectations.
* Work to ensure our owners and customers receive outstanding, personalised service
* Set and maintain the highest standards of dress appearance and hygiene at all times in line with our clients uniform standards.
* Supervise Food, Beverage and Restaurant operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service, well presented food, and served efficiently in a relaxed atmosphere.
* Be equipped to deal with sudden employee shortages through absenteeism, being able to deputise in any job capacity.
* Deal with complaints and negotiate with owners and customers in a warm and empathetic way, as necessary.

Other responsibilities

* Liaise duty rotas and weekly work schemes with the Village Manager
* Ensure that timesheets for all members of your department are completed on a daily basis with all breaks documented.
* Monitor the requisition of Food & Beverage/Consumable Stocks; ensuring par stocks are maintained where required.
* Promote the village to the guests and encourage your staff to do the same.
* Cash handling procedures, with allowances and management accounts processed daily.
* Up hold the correct and legal use of any Liquor Licence.
* Ensure a daily brief of Colleagues is carried out.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Food and beverage or leisure club management experience in a 4* or higher hospitality environment
* Experience dealing with customers on a regular basis
* Committed to delivering customer service excellence
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
* Self motivated and driven by standards and sales opportunities
* Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and produce creative solutions
