My client is looking for a Mortgage Administrator To join their well established mortgage company in Southampton.
The role of the Mortgage Administrator is fundamental to the growth, support and success of Complete. The role does not allow too much room for error and therefore accuracy, consistency and knowledge of lenders products and criteria must be maintained at all times. It is also a key requirement that service standards are kept high, this will involve regular communications with the Complete business sources either verbally or with the use of the BORIS processing system
Maintaining an efficient, professional and close working relationship with business sources.
Ensure knowledge of lenders products, criteria and packaging requirements are maintained
Encourage new business sources/existing business sources to use Complete services.
Ensure Complete is well represented on Trigold & Mtg Source
Ensure enquiries are dealt with within Complete service standards.
Increase intermediary database
Liaise and report figures to Networks
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A detailed working knowledge of lender products, criteria and processing requirements
A detailed working knowledge of BORIS
An understanding of other internal departments lenders propositions
Excellent communication skills
A flexible attitude to working hours
The ability to discuss unusual circumstances with lenders to influence positively cases for approval that are slightly outside criteria.
Ability to prioritise and manage a variable workload - multi-task
High sales ability
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
High motivation, commitment and desire to achieve
Objection/complaint handling skills
A commitment to achieving deadlines and sales targets
Salary £18000 - £20000
