Machine Support Assistant / Night Shift/ Permanent/ Fulwood/ Preston

£17000 per annum plus 30% Night shift Allowance

Weekly shift rota Sun - Thu 22:15 - 06:15 or Mon - Thu 21:45 -06:15 Fri 18:45-00:15

During your three months training period, there is a pentential shift 6 til 2 or 8am til 4pm until our client feels you are competent enough to move to the night shift.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Machine Assistant to join a busy assembly department for a well established client in the Fulwood area of Preston.

We are looking for a candidate to provide a high-level support service to keep presses operating efficiently in order to print a wide variety of self-adhesive labels in a busy manufacturing environment while adhering to all quality and safety standards. Covering within various departments including Packing, Wristband Assembly and Pre-Press.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

" Maintain optimum quality at all times.

" Consistently achieve productivity targets.
" Sub assembly of small plastic cartridge components.
" Testing and verification of finished components.
" Pack finished components into boxes and palletize.
" Consistently achieve productivity targets.

" Complete accurate job records - time recording.
" Maintain optimum Health and Safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience of working in a production environment to high quality standards whilst meeting targets and deadlines
General computer skills

Your role as a Support Assistant is to form part of the most important of roles within the warehouse. A keen eye for detail and good hand-eye coordination is key here!
