Business Development Manager – UK 
Field Based (Covering Greater London, within the M25)

Now, they’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team, based in the Greater London area. 

With a focus on quality, great taste and excellent customer service, it’s no surprise that our client’s success story dates back to the 1800s. You will have the chance to help write the next chapter of the company’s story and drive their growth throughout the UK. 

As the Business Development Manager, you will deliver a high-quality service to key customers in the UK and drive profitability of our client’s food products. 

In this vital role, you’ll act as the primary commercial contact for key customers. You’ll liaise with buyers and the broader Customer Team to ensure that strong working relationships are developed and KPIs are delivered. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Develop annual sales and promotion plans 
- Build and maintain comprehensive key account plans 
- Monitor the performance of key accounts and submit progress reports 
- Negotiate annual agreements with major retailers 
- Propose marketing initiatives to increase awareness of products 
- Identify new product development opportunities based on customer and market feedback 

To be considered, you’ll need: 

- At least three years’ experience in food sales or a related field 
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel 
- A degree level qualification 
- A full driving licence 

Results-driven and proactive, as the Business Development Manager, you’ll have exceptional relationship-building and communication skills. A strategic mindset and the ability to work on your own initiative are also key.
