Join friendly specialist team.  MVHR CAD designer working with innovative architects & self builders across the country on Passivhaus and low energy builds.

Join our busy office communicating with innovative architects and self-builders across the country.   CAD skills, mechanical engineering or building services knowledge and the ability to think around engineering/ physics essential, specialist training provided.  Suit graduate Mechanical Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Architectural Technologist or similar. Office based.

Job Tasks

  • Designing mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) systems for new build and retrofit dwellings using CADvent and MagiCAD, bespoke CAD based 3D design packages for ventilation systems. 
  • Liaising with architects and self-builders over their design requirements and constraints and generally providing support, via telephone and email.

We are looking for someone with the skills and aptitude to grow into this role and to contribute to the technical development of the department.  A methodical approach and good communications skills are important.
