Trainee DSA Assessor

Person Specification
- Educated to degree level
- Excellent analytical skills
- Driving Licence essential
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant transferrable experience
Trainee DSA Assessor Duties
- Assessing study support and IT requirements for students
- Provide detailed written reports on information gathered for DSA funding
- Undertaking continued assessor training and professional development
- Upholding Chace’s policies and maintaining an overview of related external policies
- Travelling between different centres in South Wales
Training Program
The successful candidates will engage in a training program which will equip them with the skills required for independent assessing.
The DSA Assessor training program will include: observations of interviews and assessments, a personal development portfolio, and reviews of written reports. Upon successful completion of training the salary will increase to £24,000.
