A traditional Lakeland Pub offering fine local ales and an extensive hearty menu, is looking for a Pub Chef and is offering an attractive package to the right person.
Located a five-minute walk from the Langdale Estate in the village of Chapel Stile, they are part of a wider Estate that is also home to a luxurious 52 bedroom 4-star hotel, a 16-bedroom boutique hotel, a beautiful restaurant and bar as well as lavish spa facilities.
The Role:
Working under the guidance of the Estate Head Chef, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role and you will be involved in service every day.
The Candidate:
We are looking for somebody who understands what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guests’ expectations.
Having the patience and skills needed to motivate, train, and inspire junior members of the team is vitally important. You will need to be able to work well in busy situations and be able to guide the team in producing high amounts of food for customers at a consistent standard.
Excellent communication skills are essential especially when under pressure. Calmly leading a team will be a highlight of your management style.
