Starting salary up to £25,390*
40 Hours per week

Our client is currently recruiting for a skilled IT Officer to join the IT Service Desk team to provide a high level of customer service to system users.

On a day to day basis you will provide support to the Group’s 500 users; resolving IT issues on a range of devices from Desktop to Laptop, Tablet to Mobile Phone. You will undertake administration of user accounts within Active Directory and work with the team on wider projects.\z

The successful candidate will need take ownership of support requests; ensuring all support calls are recorded and kept updated on the system as well meeting compliance with internal SLA’s. You will support the administration of our mobile telephone fleet along with the ongoing updating and maintenance of asset tracking records for IT equipment.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a similar role within an internal IT department or IT services organisation,

You will have hands on experience of configuring, troubleshooting and supporting user applications and equipment, troubleshooting workstations and using help desk call tracking systems.

It is essential that you are a problem solver who can ‘think outside of the box’ when required in order to resolve issues. You will be able to handle a busy workload yet ensure customer service is always the key focus.

*Subject to satisfactory performance in this role, incremental progression may be available on a two-yearly basis. Currently the top of this grade is £29,079 per annum
