FINTEC recruit is seeking a Technical Operations Manager based in Preston. This is a permanent position with salary £35,000 to £40,000. Ideally you will have experience of measurement of pressure, temperature and volume flow in working in a laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:
- To Manage operational activities within a test Laboratory
- Ensure technical quality UKAS standards and ISO standards
- Supervision of Lab team and undertaking technical reviews
- Organising internal audits in line with QMS systems and schedules
- Prepare and issue quotations, proposals reports etc
- Good customer service skills and communication skills in dealing with clients
Skills and Experience for the Laboratory Operations Manager:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant subject or expereince
- Knowledge of internal auditing procedures and techniques (UKAS Standards)
