Department Info
With a team of around 500 people, Mature Savings look after existing pensions and investments - from dealing with customer enquiries, updating information and handling customer claims. We also have a group of teams handling Communications, Product Literature, Project Management and training.
Job Duties
Support the Unit Linked Management Committee (ULMC) fulfil its responsibilities in the management of the LGAS unit linked funds
Manage the Fund Governance impacts resulting from the agreed sale of LGAS Mature Savings to ReAssure, includes:
Maintain project plans
Ensure Fund Governance team is regularly briefed and updated on developments
Monitor and ensure Fund Governance is meeting its commitments to delivering the project
Report of progress to the Asset Management Workstream and Programme Management Office (PMO)
Report on progress to Mature Savings Management teams
Present on technical subjects to LGAS Management teams and ReAssure
Identify and mitigate against any gaps in processes documentation/controls required to ensure orderly transfer of business to ReAssure
Provide Data analysis / Fund Information in order to meet project requirements
Support other Fund Governance team members to deliver against Project requirements and cover for repeatable and ad-hoc tasks where required to enable other team members (acting as SMA's) to prioritise Project deliveries.
Liaise and manage other stakeholders, Internal: Risk, ExCo, LGIM, Legal and External: Regulator, State Street, Cofunds, External Fund Managers, Custodians as required.
Manage, Update, Novate or terminate contracts which Fund Governance are reliant on and are impacted by the Project.
Skills Required
Ability to plan and organise committee meetings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team.
High standard of reviewing technical data.
Knowledge of key investment management systems i.e Bloomberg/Reuters, Lipper/Morningstar, Investment/Mercer, DataStream, Style Research.
