Temporary HR Administrator

We are currently looking to recruit a temporary HR Administrator to join a fantastic company based in Reigate. No previous experience is require, preferably someone who is educated to degree level and has a keen interest in HR.

Job Description:

  • Ensure correct authorisations are obtained on relevant HR documentation
  • Check and follow up return of documentation where appropriate
  • Data entry into HRIS, specifically regarding leave dates, holiday records and final payments and keep HRIS updated with appropriate amendments
  • Process contractors, temps and consultants leaver requests when required
  • Ensure payroll instructions are prepared, approved and sent on time
  • Produce job offer and Contract of Employment paperwork to new joiners
  • Be a first point of contact for new joiners and any questions they may have
  • Data entry of new joiners on HRIS and send welcome instructions
  • Produce weekly induction paperwork and assist with room set-up on the day
  • Provide occasional administration support to Recruitment Manager/Advisor if needed
  • Learning & Development Function support
  • Assist in the coordination, support and record-keeping of induction workshops
  • Provide support to employee queries in relation to internal and external study
  • Learning & Development - Document maintenance and version control. To maintain records of all published L&D materials including intranet content and liaise with L&D Consultants or other subject matter experts in ensuring materials remain up-to-date and that version control procedures are followed
  • Responding to queries that come into the Human Resources shared mailbox
  • Responding to queries that come into the L&D shared mailbox
  • Resolving employee and manager holiday queries and edit records in HRIS when needed
  • Administration of references
  • Administration of contractors, temporary and consultant records
  • Maintain employee files and undertake data audits periodically
  • Keep HR administration process manuals, checklists and guidance sheets up to date

Person Specification:

  • Educated to A - Level or equivalent
  • Excel/Word/Outlook- Intermediate
  • Strong understanding of administration processes
  • Experience working with large volumes of data
  • Strong track record of delivering customer service
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment

Additional Information:

  • Based in Reigate
  • GBP21,000 pro rata
  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
