Term Time Post: 30 hours per week, 34 weeks per week.

We are looking for an experienced person to work as part of the Catering Team within an exceptionally busy Café environment. The Café has a high volume of custom throughout the academic year and you will be required to undertake general catering duties and to contribute to the University’s professional catering service.

The duties will include making baguettes, sandwiches for the Sub Stop sandwich bar, serving coffees and alcoholic beverages, serving customers at the hot food counter and lay-up and delivering of hospitality for internal functions and events.

You will possess excellent customer service skills and knowledge of cashiering, together with a good understanding of current licensing legislation. You will have attained CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene to demonstrate your knowledge and experience of health and safety with regards to food preparation and hygiene within the workplace.

The pro rata salary for the position will be £10,067 to £10,260.
