As a Client Relationship Manager your role will be to build strong relationships with our existing customers, support their needs and ensure that they get the best possible value from our products, thereby retaining their business. As part of your role, you will provide customers with induction plans, online training and support.
You would work with 5-6 energy suppliers, ranging from the established and organised, to the more fast and furious start-up's. There is plenty of variety and they guarantee that you will never be bored!
What sort of day to day tasks will you be involved in?
- Being the first point of day to day engagement and coordination of activity for your client base
- Coordination of weekly calls and touchpoints with operations, support and finance for each of your clients.
- Spending time onsite with clients to ensure strong understanding of their business priorities and best use of their solutions
- Working with internal product and configuration teams to understand, scope and prioritise client change requests.
- Handling incidents that jump to the top of the priority list, marshalling internal resources, be it developers, testers, finance teams etc, to resolve matters and keep the client a breast of progress
- Identification and delivery of incremental and new revenue opportunities through client interaction
- Delivering on their client revenue streams to the overall plan
- Ownership of the strategic direction of key client account plans
- Switching from quick and slow fix immediate priorities, to longer term relationship building and account building tasks.
- Being the internal stake holder for managed service and software delivery, responsible for oversight of software, contracts and services provided to our clients
- Driving clarity, consistency, and improvements in our client management model
- Keeping on top of their evolving strategic priorities
What key skills will you need to have
- They would love it if you had energy industry experience but that is a 'nice to have' and not a 'must have'
- You will be an existing account or relationship manager. If not from the energy industry, then you must have experience in complex software sales and account co-ordination.
- You must be a self-starter. They won't spoon feed you. You'll be getting out there making connections, finding out who can help you in the business and making things happen
- You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will be juggling competing priorities, daily
- You will be able to show some evidence of project management skills and the development of client plans
The job comes with a company wide bonus, full family healthcare and pension.
