General Manager

Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre is a successful charity based in South West Scotland, which opened on the 1st March 2003.

The centre is set in a beautiful location, near to the shores of the Solway Firth and provides high quality facilities for staff, the public and of course, our canine friends. Since its opening, the centre has successfully re-homed over 5,000 dogs playing a pivotal animal rescue role within the region and beyond.

The Charity now recognises the need to meet legislative challenges, secure its future viability and most fundamentally, ensure strong management, leadership and innovation. We are looking for a General Manager of the Charity, who is highly motivated, a good communicator, has a proven track record of leadership, good people and financial management skills and can demonstrate the ability to drive change and innovate in a modern, successful organisation.

Ideally, you will have experience of managing a charitable organisation, with a real passion for the meaningful contribution such organisations make to people and communities.

The salary for the role is circa £32k - £35k and if you believe you could be the right person for the role.
