Our client is a forward-thinking social organisation that positively impacts communities.  They're proud to create opportunities that make things happen - for people, families, homes and communities and can only achieve this if they've got the right people with as much enthusiasm and passion as we have for making things happen.

They're a busy team with lots to do in a changing environment, and are looking for two enthusiastic people to join them as Scheme Coordinators based primarily in the Salford area. Your time will be spent supporting tenants to live independently and promoting good health and wellbeing and you’ll do this by delivering quality housing related support to each tenant living in sheltered accommodation.

2 x Permanent posts - 1 x 36 per week and 1 x 25-30 hours per week (negotiable)

You will interact with customers daily, carry out wellbeing and/or tenancy visits, review and monitor support and risk assessments to encourage customers to achieve their goals, signpost to agencies and encourage social activity and interaction.

Your role will also entail managing buildings to ensure high quality standards and environments are maintained. You will complete regular health and safety checks, block inspections and equipment testing and must also carry out initial assessments of applicants to establish their suitability for supported accommodation, completing the lettings process from start to finish.

Our client is looking for people who are committed to providing excellent services and have great customer service skills. Previous housing experience is not essential as they offer a full induction into the role.

You will need to be able to work well autonomously and productively as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to converse with a wide range of people are essential. Recording information on computers is a large part of this role; your skills must include a good level of computer literacy or a keen aptitude to learn. Multi tasking is essential to this role, you must be able to prioritise tasks and organise your own time effectively.

As well as a competitive salary and a generous holiday entitlement, they offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including a health cash plan, pension scheme, child care vouchers and staff discount club membership.
