Laboratory Technician

Our client urgently requires a Laboratory Support Technician to join
their team at one of their busiest times of year, working on a shift
basis for an initial 6 month temporary contract.

You will be required to assist in the collection of samples for
finished product testing, preparation of media for microbiological
testing, assisting in keeping the laboratory clean and tidy and
entering laboratory results into the laboratory information management
systems and also being involved in quality control.

It is essential that the successful applicant will have to have
previous laboratory experienced, within chemistry and microbiology.
Also to be enthusiastic and comfortable in a fast changing
environment. You will be a team player with excellent communication
skills; have a good level of IT literacy, numeracy and an eye for
detail.
