Position: Stakeholder Relations Officer
Location: Olton, West Midlands
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: GBP28,283 actual per annum
Closing date: 5pm on Thursday 12th July.

About the role:
The Stakeholder Relations Team plays a pivotal role in making this happen by driving forward Alzheimer's Society's national campaigns at a regional and local level.
As Stakeholder Relations Officer, you will be responsible for delivering our ambitious programme of campaigning and influencing work he West Midlands region . You will build relationships and secure commitments from key decision-makers to ensure people affected by dementia are better understood and supported.
This will include creating engagement plans, writing briefings, attending meetings and organising events. You will also work closely with other teams across the organisation to maximise our impact.
About you:
We are looking for someone with experience working in a stakeholder relations/public affairs/campaigns/policy role, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
You will have a good understanding of the UK political environment and the health and social care systems in England. You will be expected to work largely on your own initiative and support regional projects.
Travel across the West Midlands region and to London will be required.
