We are seeking a Class Teacher for a lovely specialist residential school near Bristol, which caters for children with a range of needs including Learning Difficulties and Autism.

The Role
The post of Class Teacher will involve planning and delivering an appropriate curriculum to all pupils in the class. You will identify individual needs of pupils, providing effective teaching, and will be responsible for creating a therapeutic, safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment. This will include identifying individual needs of pupils with demand avoidance and challenging behaviour who struggle to take part in conventional classroom learning with their peer group.
About You
The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma, or be educated to degree level in Education or Teaching, and will have significant experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities. You will receive the full support of a friendly staff team, along with ongoing training and development opportunities.
Salary and Rewards
The salary for this post will be £25,000 - £27,800. Benefits include 11 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays.
