An experienced Housing and Site Assistant Manager is required for the
efficient and accurate processing and management of housing and tenant
management for the site.
The role involves:
* Submissions of housing benefit claims
* Collections of rents
* Submission of reports and statistics for all parties
* Working with applicants currently housed on the site
* Supporting the General Manager and the Finance Manager
* Supervise a team of employees and volunteers for their objectives
* Working to strict policies and business plan objectives
* Working with the local Council to achieve the best options for
applicants and ensure no lost places
* Assessing tenants for suitability and assisting with their moving
in date and induction to site rules
* Processing of financial information and compliance
* Ensuring timely processing of payments and reminders
* Assisting with behaviour complaints and issues of tenants
* Basic facility management to ensure health and safety is achieved
and maintained
* General administration
Your experience within the housing or social care or tenant management
sector will be clearly demonstrated by your knowledge of applications,
tenancy agreements with councils, targets and of course peoples well
being, both tenants and colleagues.
It is critical that an Enhanced DBS (CRB) check is completed
successfully for any applicant.
This is a full time role that requires some flexibility on hours to
ensure that the team and welfare of all.
