Wirer

A leading UK engineering company require an experienced Wirer to work within their production department.

This is an initial contract role with the view to possibly becoming a permanent position.

Wirer Requirements:

* The Wirer will have previous experience of working on small to medium sized assemblies
* Candidates will have experience of reading and interpreting engineering and schematic drawings
* Expected to have experience of wiring including look installation, terminating, crimping and soldering
* Previous experience of wiring small panels and boxes is essential

Wirer Responsibilities:

* Wirers will be required to work from Engineering drawings building small to medium assemblies
* Candidates will be required to do a mixture of mechanical box and panel build and electrical wiring
* The Wirer could be required to do loom installation, general wiring of panels, terminating and crimping wires, as well as some soldering
