Futures Recruitment Services are delighted to working alongside our
fantastic client based here on the South Coast. We are resourcing for
a motivated and enthusiastic Head Chef to join the team.

Our client offers a brilliant atmosphere within the Restaurant and
across the whole resort.

This role is ideally seeking an experienced and knowledge candidate to
join the team, embrace the company's culture and build and develop a
strong team to continuously delivering an exceptional food and
service.

Key Responsibilities involved with the Head Chef position:

*

Provide effective leadership to develop and unleash the full
potential of the Chefs within the venue

*

Create an environment so that our chefs may perform at their very
best

*

Apply a hand on leadership approach in order to develop the core
competencies of the chefs

*

Creates and maintains a great team sprit within the kitchens and
food service area

*

Promotes healthy relationships between the front & back of house
teams

*

Work closely with the Operations Manager to attract, recruit and
retain new chefs to the business.

*

Work with the relevant teams to implement and maintain a
structured training and development program for the kitchen teams

*

Provide feedback to the kitchen team, identifying development and
training needs through the appraisal process.

*

Recognise good performance in the work place and where appropriate
reward the performance.

*

Identify poor performance and plan corrective coaching.

*

Make recommendations to the relevant teams so that the kitchen
teams have the appropriate resources to deliver the required
tasks.

*

Control Food Purchasing, Production levels in line with yearly
Food cost Budgets

*

Implement and maintain wastage control within the kitchen

*

Maintain a safe, secure and appealing environment by ensuring
compliance to company policy for Health, Safety & Hygiene, as well
as all other aspects of relevant legislation.

Requirements

*

previous Head Chef/Senior Second Chef experience within
multi-site, high volume food role

*

Previous experience in training and development (Desirable but not
Essential)

*

Intermediate food hygiene certificate (Essential)

*
