Production Manager and Graphic Designer

A busy Cheshire based Exhibition and Events Company are looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager & 2D Graphic Designer (one role) to help deliver award winning exhibition stands and event material to major corporate clients, across the UK and internationally.

Here are the main parts of the job and the knowledge and skills we'll be looking for in your CV:

- Sound knowledge and understanding of large format print processes
- Minimum three years previous experience
- Liaising with printers and suppliers of large format print and production material. Event and exhibition industry knowledge is essential
- Good knowledge of exhibition systems (Twist, UniBox, IsoFrame, etc.) is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Obtaining and negotiating quotes from printers and suppliers
- Scheduling artwork going to printers and suppliers, including their delivery/collection for transporting to events
- Checking quality and suitability of artwork sent in by customers
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels, from Company Directors to junior members of staff
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines essential
- Comfortable with face-to-face client meetings and design sessions, from initial brief meetings to completion of projects
- Willingness to travel to events and meetings when required
- Highly competent with Adobe CC Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) essential
