R13 recruitment are supporting a leading organisation in their search for
an experienced Graphic Designer. As an integral member of the marketing
team, you will be required to produce high quality creative mainly for
eComms activity, including HTML emails and online product literature, but
also for publications, press, exhibition, event and overall branding.
This role calls for someone who has a graphic design and/or a digital
background and able to work with all media types including print. An
individual with a flair for look as well as a feel for what wording is
appropriate to each design is also important. A talented designer with an
understanding for corporate identity and branding.
Duties to include:
* Take ownership of the overall design and branding for various
products across the business.
* Produce engaging and responsive designs to develop recognition and
support the overall promotion of products.
* Designing printed and press adverts, PDF brochures, catalogues,
leaflets, branded promotional items as well as the development of the
shell scheme designs for exhibition and events.
* Working closely with the graphics team, digital marketing department,
press and PR departments to maintain brand identify.
* Selecting stock images to use with various banners, e-marketing and
product literature.
* Designing various adverts to promote the business which could include
editorial or advertorial layouts and page-setting.
* Designing e-mail marketing templates along with standard business
forms and sales materials.
You will have/be:
* Confident using the full range of Adobe suite packages including:
Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
* Strong graphic design skills and print knowledge is essential.
* A good understanding of typography and page-setting to ensure every
piece of on and offline marketing has impact.
* Use of table and table-less layouts.
* An understanding of responsive web design, usability and UX.
* Previous commercial experience in a graphic or design role.
* Copywriting experience.
* Previous experience with B2B email marketing - preferably using
dotmailer.
* Creative approach with a flexible, pro-active 'can-do' attitude.
* Portfolio showing previous design work.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to work to deadline in a
fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and confident.
This is a full time permanent role working 35 hours per week Monday
to Friday. Offered salary is highly competitive DOE. A comprehensive
