Marketing Manager - Cards - Payments - Financial Service
I am currently working with one of the leading payment company, and I am looking for a Marketing Manager
- Marketing Strategy & Consultancy - review, analyse and present clear and strategic recommendations to deliver result-driven marketing solutions that span across different functions and disciplines. He/she should be able to leverage deep knowledge of the UK&I payments industry, media insights and trends as well as consumer insights to design effective results-driven marketing and communication strategies
- Campaign management & delivery - plan deliver the end-to-end execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns as well as tracking and measuring results
- Media planning, channels management and deployment - Media management as well as ATL & BTL planning and implementation. Well-versed in fully-integrated omni-channel planning, development and implementation.
- Credit Card Lifecycle Management - able to initiate ideas and implement marketing initiatives based on best practice across the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition to retention
- Client Management & Business Development - support the Managed Services (Marketing), Advisors to pitch for business opportunities as well as managing a few key banks/issuers and partners to identify and 'sell in' opportunities to provide marketing consultancy as well as to deliver marketing solutions and executions of superior standard in a timely and efficient manner.
- Digital marketing - experienced and well-versed in end-to-end digital marketing which includes analytical review of media strategies and plans and working with partners to propose successful results-driven digital marketing strategies. Ability to hone in on trends and insights and propose innovative and strategic digital marketing solutions that drive value and results. Able to influence, drive and deliver the digital marketing agenda internally and with partners across all key marketing strategies and initiatives to achieve key business objectives and strong returns of marketing investments.
- Stakeholder management - strong interpersonal skills to liaise and co-ordinate with agencies, Mastercard stakeholders, issuers and partners
- Analytics & portfolio management - leveraging, interpreting and analyzing data and insights to plan and implement marketing initiatives.
- Marketing support and administration - support and co-ordinate with internal and external parties to process payments and to ensure timely submission for financials through Mastercard's core systems
SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent English Language; additional languages a plus
- Must have at least 10 years of experience driving results at a large financial institutions or industry with similar mechanics. Well versed in the payments industry and consumer needs in UK&I
- Experience in working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and agendas
- Credit/Debit card product lifecycle marketing experience is a must. Experience should include: card acquisition, contactless, spend, loyalty and brand initiatives
- Able to develop and deliver successful integrated marketing campaigns including digital, direct mail, and in-store channels
- Strong digital marketing experience and an interest in new technology is a must - having designed and managed large campaigns end-to-end.
- Comfortable developing and delivering marketing training on behalf of clients
- Able to explore and understand client's needs and opportunities and develop marketing strategies to address these
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across disciplines and seniority levels
- Experienced in managing creative and media agencies
- Analytical and results oriented; with ability to interpret internal and external data and insights to provide effective marketing recommendations and follow through the projects with immaculate, timely and hands-on execution
- Comfortable working with advanced analytics colleagues to determine the appropriate date, segmentation and tracking for each campaign
- Strong ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects across multiple disciplines and competent in managing projects of scale and with multiple deliverables
- Commercially aware and comfortable managing project budgets and preparing project financial forecasts
- Resilient and able to adapt to perform efficiently against tight and evolving timelines and client needs - must be comfortable working on occasions in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work effectively well in a team and independently
- Comfortable travelling to client sites in the UK and occasionally within Europe when the need arises
