Are you looking for an interesting and challenging part time role based in Taunton? Do you have an interest in Property and have a full driving licence and your own transport?

We are seeking a self motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in a small family business based in Taunton as a Property/ Lettings Administrator on a part time basis. Located near the Town centre this role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and well organised administrator with an interest in or experience of property/lettings/ estate agency to make a role their own.

This is a new position and will involve a variety of administrative tasks within the property letting process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all legislative documentation is completed correctly and tenants are issued with the right paperwork. It will involve ensuring references are sought and tenancy agreements are completed. It will also involve checking risk assessments and right to live in UK checks are completed. You will need a professional telephone manner and excellent customer service skills as you will be responsible for liaising with tenants throughout their tenancy including arranging and attending inspections, arranging appropriate repairs and other queries. Part of the role will involve visiting properties and conducting detailed inventories and meeting contractors/ tenants on site. You will need to be self motivated as you will spend periods of time in the office alone and also out and about visiting properties. You will need to be an excellent relationship builder and able to communicate with a variety of people effectively. You will also need good IT and administrative skills and be able to set up new systems and office processes.

This is a part time role, circa 20 hours. ideally spread over 5 days and the company can be flexible to fit with school hours etc. A flexible approach will be essential for this role and you will need to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage will be paid).
