Property Paralegal - Leeds
Join our well-establised, high performing and busy Transaction Services Team (TST) as a Paralegal to help us deliver a world class service to our clients. For the right person, this role provides an exciting opportunity to work with a team of committed professionals and contribute to our proven success. Litigation experience or 1-2 years of Real Estate experience is required. The Role The work of a Paralegal in the TST is a varied one. All of our Paralegals are assigned to one of the Divisionally aligned subteams. You can expect to work on a variety of assignments from across all of the Firm's Divisions, not just the one you are aligned to. This gives you a good insight into the workings of a commercial law firm. The assignments you will be working on can include the following: ??? Drafting and producing legal documentation, standard forms and reports ??? Reviewing and checking legal documents for quality, consistency and content ??? Running the property lists on a transaction and keeping them up to date ??? Running and collating the conditions precedent process on a variety of property transactions including real estate finance and social housing finance ??? Liaising with internal and external parties during the course of property transactions ??? Managing electronic data sites ??? Assisting with post completion on property transactions, including Companies House registrations, bibling and organisation of original documents ??? Providing general transaction support to the Banking department property team ??? Acting as a liaison between the Banking department property team and central TST to ensure that where possible work is delegated and undertaken at the correct level ??? Any additional tasks as required by the Banking department property team What we are looking for Due to the dynamic nature of the work we do and the clients we seek to serve, the role is not an ordinary 9-5 job. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, who takes real pride in their work and who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment. You will have: ??? An NVQ Apprenticeship Level 3 or a Degree level qualification is desirable
