Kiln Placer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Kiln Placer to work on a temp to perm basis for a reputable manufacturing company near Amington in Tamworth.
You will working in a very warm environment which can sometimes be dusty, candidates applying for this role must be prepared to work in intense heat. The company manufacture high end bathroom products - full training will be provided for candidates who haven't worked in this sort of environment before.
As a Kiln Placer your duties will include:
- Working in a factory loading and unloading a kiln
- Unpacking ceramic moulds and assembling them together where required
- Inspecting all finished products and quality checks to maintain excellent standards
To be a successful applicant for the Kiln Placer role, candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- Production or warehouse experience
- Must be prepared to work in a warm environment
- Must be able to use own initiative
- Be able to check the quality of items - eye for detail
We are looking for someone to begin a career with this company. It is a temp to perm role, candidates are taken on after 12 weeks and there is steady progression available within the company for the right person.
Shifts are Monday to Friday between 0600 to 1430.
The rate of pay is GBP7.83 an hour.
