Are you skilled at space planning and designing aesthetic but function working environments? Are you competent in a range of design softwares including CAD/3D Max/Revit? Are you looking for an opportunity to work directly with the client and see your designs take shape?
Our client is well-established and highly successful, dynamic company specialising in mezzanine floors and workspace solutions. They are looking to recruit a Designer to expand their design function and strengthen their project team. Primarily you will be creating conceptual drawings and 3d visuals and also, once a project has been won, creating construction issue drawings, bill of materials and programmes of works to hand over to the project management teams. This will involve client meetings and site survey visits You would be expected to:
??Create space planning proposals
??Choose colour schemes, choose materials and mood boards for projects
??Create 3D visuals
??Assist the co-ordination team create drawings when not completing any of the above
Your background
??Ideally you will have graduated in a relevant subject which would include construction design, architecture, building studies or interior design
??You will have some experience in interior design and the ability to make creative use of space
??You will be able to work with clients to develop design concepts and progress these through to manufacture.
The role will be based at office near Wakefield but travel to clients in the Yorkshire region will be part of the role. A clean driving licence is essential.
As the successful candidate, once trained you will become an integral part of the design team and expect a progressive career in a fast growing, young, dynamic company. The job will be challenging yet rewarding. Starting salary will be between GBP20-25k pa with an excellent benefits package.
