Technical Support Engineer (electronics)

GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

Our client is a electronic test organisation based in High Wycombe. Due to internal movment, they are looking to take on a Technician Support Engineer with a good background in electronics. The appointed Technical Support Engineer role will be split between office based phone technical support and travelling across the UK and Ireland visiting client sites.
The appointed Electronics Technical Support engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Providing first class over the phone / email support to clients, troubleshooting and assisting with our clients test systems
- Attending customer sites to provide software and hardware support and repair of our clients electronic test systems
- Calibrating and adjusting of our clients electronic test solutions
The successful Electronic Technical Support Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
- A thorough understanding of electronics
- Outgoing, personable individual who will represent our client well when on customer sites
- High Level of attention to detail and methodical approach
- Experience of repairing electronic test systems would be highly desired
- Computer literate
Our client will compensate the Electronics Technical Support Engineer with the following benefits:
- 37.5 hrs p/w (early close on Friday)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays)
- Workplace pensions
- Negotiable salary depending on experience
- Car allowance up to GBP6,000
