Escort / Security Guard
Location: HMP Grendon & Springhill
Pay Rate: GBP7.83ph
SkyBlue are currently recruiting a number of Contractor Escorts on
behalf of their client Gov Facility Services Ltd. This can be a
challenging environment, however due to the high demand of work this
could be a long term opportunity for the correct candidate.
Duties will include but won't be limited to:
* Provision of an effective escort service to the site.
* Escort contractors/tradesmen between departments, and buildings,
as required.
* Supervise and communicate the location of tools and
tradesmen/contractors to prison staff
* Take instruction and subject to regular supervision from prison
staff
* Able to prioritise own work, and make decisions in relation to
everyday duties
* Professionally inform contractors/tradesmen of authorised areas of
work within the prison, and in accordance with the escort manual
* Ensure the security of contractors/tradesmen via liaising with
prison staff
* Raising any concerns to prison staff, as required
* Please note, you will may come into contact with prisoners during
this placement and your safety will be ensured by prison officers
and staff.
To be able to work within the HM Prison Service, you must be able to
pass the standard security vetting process. If you either hold a
current DBS, previous CTC clearance or have worked in that environment
