We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and proactive individual to join a the team for our busy client based in Bristol. The Warehouse & Logistics Assistant Managers role will involve working as part of the operations team in Supporting the back & front of house teams in preparing equipment for events, delivering and collecting the equipment post events.
Responsibilities will include operating pot-washing machinery, sweeping and mopping floors and disposing of kitchen waste.
Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to the appropriate department
Ensure the kitchen porterage team are always well presented
Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in all areas
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Ensure cleaning tasks are carried out as quickly and safely as possible.
Management of all CCG (China, Cutlery & Glassware) and equipment in terms of inventory management, maintenance and cleanliness
Follow pick sheets as instructed by Event Managers to count all CCG & install ready for the event.
Take responsibility for stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation, and the return of any sub-standard items
Full compliance with all company policies and procedures as detailed in the staff handbook
Adhere to any reasonable requests from senior management

Ability to work as a member of the team and on own

Can work well under pressure and able to multi-task
Numerate
Willingness to work nights and weekends
Full and clean Driving license
Forklift licence
Desirable;
At least 2 years experience of working for an Event caterer or a similar role
Manual handling training
Health & Safety and Food Safety training
