Field Service Engineer

The Role of a Field Service Engineer:
Based from home, and covering the M6 corridor, you will be servicing, repairing, and maintaining steam traps, heat exchangers and controls valves in various plant rooms. You will be utilising your mechanical knowledge on the equipment, along with some very basic electrical trouble shooting. As an engineer you will be interacting face to face with prestigious clients whilst completing risk assessments for the work on customer sites. 80% of the role is PPM, the remaining 20% consisting of reactive maintenance, averaging 2 jobs per day by managing your own diary.
The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer Position:
* You MUST have field service engineering experience and a mechanical bias
* Engineering experience of plant rooms is ESSENTIAL
* Experience of steam systems and related products such as control valves and actuators would be advantageous, but not essential
* HVAC or refrigeration engineering experience would be beneficial
* Formal engineering qualifications will be looked upon favourably
* Strong English communication skills; verbal, written, and reading
* Able to manage the daily work load
* Full UK driving licence
* You MUST have right to work in the UK
