Divisional HR Advisor
South West & Midlands • GBP35k+ Car and excellent benefits
About Our Client
An exciting opportunity exists with my client, a major player in the
construction/house builder market with a recognised national presence.
They are looking to recruit a HR Advisor based within the South West
and Midland regions
Reporting into the Divisional HR Business Partner you will be
responsible for advisory operations to ensure an effective and
efficient service to our client's Central Division Regions.
Job Description
* Managing caseloads of ER queries and be at hand to support the
Divisional HR Business Partner with management of more complex ER
issues as required.
* Provide advice and constructed support to all HR customers within
the central region; responding to telephone calls and at desk
enquiries; liaise with the Divisional HR Business Partner and the
Divisional HR Administrators as appropriate to progress issues
raised.
* Be responsible for the management and delivery on recruitment
processes within the Central Division, ensuring recruitment is
dealt with in an effective and efficient manner and the relevant
documentation is obtained by the Divisional HR Administrators
* Evaluate and gather benchmark data which will be internally and
externally used for specific remuneration packages as and when
required.
* Work with the Divisional HR Business Partner and the Regional
Management Team to support implementation of plans for
improvements to employee engagement.
* Attend and participate in meetings that require HR Presence and HR
Team Meetings when called upon
* Support the systemisation of Training and HR policies across the
Central Division such as Management Development Programmes and
Development Reviews
* Work closely with HR Management in order to ensure compliance with
the company's policies and procedures, Employee Guide and
employment and other relevant legislation such as the Data
Protection Act, and Health & Safety.
The Successful Applicant will:
* The job holder will have a minimum of 1 years' experience within a
HR Advisory position
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills are essential, specifically
Excel and Word
* Precision and accuracy are essential
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Able to be a strong team player and communicator due to the
Divisional HR Team being split across 3 regional offices
* Strong organisational skills and time management are essential
* Interpersonal and customer service skills are also an essential
requirement
* You will have access to information of a highly confidential
nature in connection with the Department's business and company
policies therefore must be trustworthy and reliable.
* GCSE A-C in Maths and English
* A Levels or equivalent is preferable
* As this role involves extensive travel, a full, valid driving
license is essential
