Graduate Applications Engineer required to join established and growing manufacturer of detection and inspection equipment based in the Farnborough area. The role is an exciting opportunity for a graduate engineer to gain exposure and experience in various elements of engineering and business. Further details listed below. The successful Graduate Applications Engineer will be degree/HND/C qualified in an engineering field of study.
Graduate Applications Engineer Position Overview
The primary objective of this role is to manage and validate quotes, estimations and orders.
As an employer, internal promotions are always preferred. This position will allow a graduate to work full time in an engineering field. We anticipate for you to be able to progress into an area of your choosing such as Design/Project Engineering with the experience gained in a short time-frame.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Preparing these documents and orders ready for manufacture by keeping in close communication with both the sales and engineering teams. This may involve the use of CAD software such as Solidworks.
* Overtime, you will be able to work on individual projects that you can take control of and make your own.
* Assisting other members of the design team, working closely with suppliers & customers to ensure product specifications are met.
Graduate Applications Engineer Position Requirements
* Degree/HND/HNC/Apprentice Served Qualification in an Engineering field of study.
* Proficient in 2D & 3D Software packages such as Solidworks or AutoCAD is essential.
* Based within a commutable distance of the Farnborough area.
* Must have an open mind to learning new skills, methods and techniques.
* This role will be a mixture of project engineering, supply chain management and design engineering so an open minded approach is essential to this role.
* Clear verbal and written communication is essential.
* Full UK Driving License.

* Salary: GBP18,000-GBP24,000(Based on Experience)
* 29 Days Holiday Inc. Bank Holidays
* Pension
* 5 hr week
