New Product Development Technologist

My client, a successful food manufacture is seeking a Process Development Technologist To facilitate and own a smooth and efficient transition from product handover to launch, on time, in full and right first time.

You will Plan, arrange, co-ordinate and document trials to ensure effective use of trial time and the accurate collection of trial data to support a right first time launch

You will use trial data to review process trials and agree the next steps with key stakeholders in order to facilitate a right first time launch or product improvement

You will produce factory trial plan, review with Process Development Manager to approve. Issue to key stake holders in order to communicate and manage effectively and efficiently factory trials and pre-production trials.

You will Facilitate and communicate customer pre-pro's arranging both production and amenities. You will be the NPD main point of contact on manufacturing lines during customer pre-pro's along with the relevant production manager

You will coach and assist others in the team and in Production if they need assistance to increase their knowledge or confidence

Skills and experience;

Food Technology Degree or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years relevant experience)
Intermediate Food Hygiene
Ability to interpret customer specifications
Product and Process knowledge
Problem solving skills
Data capture and reporting skills
Interpersonal Skills
Project Management
Computer Literacy
Knowledge of Customer and Brand Artwork Process
