COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:
Our Client is well established engineering/manufacturing business and
world leader in their field.
This role represents an excellent career opportunity for an
experienced Financial Analyst.
The successful candidate will support the Programme Manager, and will
initially be involved in the introduction of a new Programme
Management Office within the existing engineering/manufacturing
facility.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Produce a financial forecast for the delivery of all active
projects for review by Senior Management, and then translate this
into a financial plan.
* Assist the project teams with producing accurate costed BOM's.
* Review proposals prior to submission to ensure that they are
financially achievable.
* Track financial performance against target and ensure action is
taken to avoid additional costs and maximise margins.
* Work to and report on KPI's
* Co- ordinate regular meetings with all Project Managers to ensure
information in the plan is accurate and up to date.
* Review financial performance at end of each project to identify
improvements for new projects and communicate as appropriate.
* Produce regular reports for Senior Management team.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
* Educated to Degree level
* Relevant Finance or Accounting qualification
* Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Finance or Accounting
* Experience of budgeting and forecasting
* Excellent IT skills covering all Microsoft Office packages as well
as ERP systems, with SAP knowledge a preference
* Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication
* Has excellent time management and prioritization
* Excellent problem solving skills
