Due to continuing success this well established company is now actively looking to recruit an experienced, hard-working Asbestos Lead Surveyor/Fire Risk Assessor to join their team in the South East region. Applications from Kent, East Sussex, Surrey, London and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
The applicant must hold the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Will be fully conversant with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
Must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion - ISE/IFSM/IFPO/IFE registered- or Fire trained-NVQ levels.
Practical experience of undertaking fire risk assessments.
Have previous experience from a technical, construction, fire service or consultancy background.
In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
Key Role:
Undertake Fire Risk, Health & Safety Risk Assessments in a variety of industry sectors - commercial, industrial and residential.
Deal with Fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire wardens, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings etc.
Undertaking asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial.
Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the company's mixed portfolio of clients.
Managing and training of staff.
Carrying out consultancy duties as and when required.
Assisting in managing projects - preparing fee proposals - technical co-ordination and auditing - in line with the company's procedures.
