I am seeking a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to work with a leading mental health charity and be based within a prison setting just outside Hertfordshire.

Employed on a full time basis, you will join a forward thinking organisation who prides themselves on supporting clients with mental illness and making a better life for the people they support.

You will be a pivotal part of the integrated primary care mental health team within a prison setting and provide high volume low intensity based psychological interventions, which are modelled on a range of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) guided self management approaches.

You will provide line management and clinical supervision to Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and Health and Wellbeing Coaches. You will play a key role in supporting the High Intensity Therapists in the overall running of the service.

I am seeking a skilled professional who has successfully completed academic course of study in line with the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and qualified as a PWP, e. Post Grad Diploma in Psychological Therapies, has completed or is in the process of completing the IAPT supervision training, are experienced of working within a supervisory role and experience working within a prison environment or with offenders.

In return for your extensive skills, qualifications and experience, you will receive a competitive salary up to £35500 per annum, continued training and development and a generous annual leave allowance.
