High Intensity Therapist (Hemel Hempstead)

I am seeking a High Intensity Therapist to work with a leading mental health charity and be based within a prison setting just outside Hertfordshire.

Employed on a part time basis, you will join a forward thinking organisation who prides themselves on supporting clients with mental illness and making a better life for the people they support.

This exciting High Intensity Therapist role will require you to work three days a week within a prison environment as part of the integrated primary care mental health team.

You will provide high intensity evidence based psychological interventions and support clients who have a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems.

You will manage a team of clinical staff including Senior Psychological Well being Practitioners and provide guidance and support in their management of their staff team.

Case management and clinical supervisions, plus audits, performance monitoring and managerial support, all form part of this exciting post.

This is the perfect opportunity for a competent mental health professional who can demonstrate a proven background within a similar supervisory role within the prison sector or have effectively worked within a substance misuse setting.

To be successfully shortlisted for this role, you must hold a relevant qualification for the High Intensity IAPT Course (Graduate Diploma level), have significant experience working as a psychological practitioner, have demonstrable experience of working in mental health experience and have experience of working in a prison environment or working with offenders.

All offers are subject to a clear DBS and prison clearance.
