We currently have an opportunity for a Payables and Receivables Officer to join our dedicated team in Leicester and we really want to hear from you if;
You have experience of working within a high performing financial transaction processing function;
- Are open to personal learning and development opportunities;
- Have knowledge of electronic purchase ordering systems;
- Have experience of working within a strong controls environment and awareness of fraud risk;
- Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
Your key responsibilities will be to contribute to the delivery of efficient accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payment of creditors and effective issue / dispute resolution. You will also assist with the delivery of efficient accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely billing of debtors and effective debtors management in order to achieve cash collection. Further to this you will actively work with the finance team and also contribute towards day to day maintenance of the suppliers and debtors databases.
Ideally you will also have experience of working with internal and external customers (including suppliers) and working within a strong controls environment and awareness of fraud risk.
