Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 5/7 days (incl. weekends)

The Company is an established Cambridge based Events Catering Company, specialising in conferences, corporate and private events. They are looking for a Chef to join their warm and friendly team.

You will primarily work as a cover/development chef in the schools business but you will also have the opportunity to work at both a local summer school (in the summer months) and their sister company, which caters for private events in and around Cambridge.

The Candidate:

 You will need to have experience with recipe/menu costings as well as proven craft and presentation skills

Versatility and passion are required to keep the menus current and ensure this company remains the number one choice for events.

The Company is looking for a Chef with excellent personal, written and verbal communication skills, is a strong manager with the ability to prioritise and multi task and be responsible for the administration of the food production from start to finish.

Eligibility: In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.  Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.  All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
