This innovative electronics company seeks an additional Electronics
Technician witihin its R&D department.
As electronics technician, you'll help evaluate new product designs
following written test procedures or verbal instruction (this will
include hand soldering Surface mount and through-hole components onto
PCB's), basic wiring and crimping as well as using test equipment such as
oscilloscopes, voltmeters etc, taking power and current measurements, as
well as device programming and product configuration, You'll also be
involved in reliability testing and failure analysis, were you'll recieve
the necessary procedure and equipment training.
To apply, you should have a technical qualification in an electronics or
electrical engineering discipline and have prior relevant experience in
electronics, including ability to hand solder PCB components (surface
mount and through-hole), and do basic wiring and crimping and use basic
test equipment. Good experience in MS office suite including Excel.
You will be trained on pre-compliance EMC test equipment / procedures and
perform product tests.
Please note there will be solder test and bench test on interview.
