Our client is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.

They have an exciting opportunity for a full time 14 -16 Lecturer in GCSE Core Science Physics/Biology to join them. This role is full time (35 hours per week over 52 weeks of the year)

The post holder will work with students across KS4 Science subjects, providing a consistently high level of teaching and support to achieve student targets and maximise their value added grades and progress.

The post holder will need to be innovative in their teaching methods and must take the lead for their curriculum area whilst demonstrating flexibility, enthusiasm and most importantly a commitment to the student journey.

The ability to inspire learners is essential as well as the ability to work as part of a well-established team of professionals. The successful candidate will be level 3/4 qualified in the subject specialism and hold a Certificate of Education/PGCE or be willing to work towards this.  You should be capable of working with a wide range of students, ideally within KS4, and demonstrate excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
