Our client is a dynamic and ambitious 18,000 unit Housing Association based in Bedford and operating throughout the Oxford to Cambridge growth corridor. They employ 400 people, have an annual turnover in excess of £120m and a development programme that will see them build around 3,000 new homes over the next five years.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced housing professional to join them as a Housing Projects Manager.  The post provides support to operational teams by delivering various projects and developing policies in order to continuously improve services.
Examples of the projects that you will manage include system integrations, tenancy variations, continued development and implementation of a digital strategy to business workflows.  These projects are varied and you will work with the wider business in order to improve business processes and overall customer service levels.
With strong communication skills, you will shape project outcomes by making recommendations and influencing decisions at middle to senior management level.  You will also actively consult with key stakeholders including local authorities where projects affect working practices.
The successful candidate will have excellent housing and tenancy management knowledge along with previous experience of working directly with customers to improve services.  You will have a strong IT skills, a technical mind and keen attention to detail which will enable you to lead the services to the next level.
