Area Manager -London North
Salary
GBP28,000 (starting) per annum, GBP30,000 per annum after completion of 6 months' probation
Job profile
A brilliant opportunity to work for a large supplementary education provider has arisen. Are you a recent graduate or an experienced professional who has a passion of working in the education sector? Do you believe that you have what it takes to step forward as an Area Manager and support a group of Instructors (franchisees) to ensure the growth of their business? Main responsibilities
?? To improve and maintain the quality of instruction and operation within your assigned region
?? To initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all instructors (franchisees)
?? Maintain regular effective centre visits and monitor performance levels
?? Give guidance information on improvement areas and detailed strategic development plans
?? Proactively and consistently provide exceptional support and guidance to franchisees. Including, but not limited to, offering them strategies and advice on achieving targets, local advertising options, centre promotion, improving student retention and growing their study centre
?? Organising and facilitating training/workshops, presentations and meetings for franchisees meeting the needs of both the franchisee and the company
?? To operationally manage a study centre as an Instructor and/or class assistant, for a period of time or as and when required
?? To effectively oversee study centre closures and take-overs within your geographical area in conjunction with other relevant internal stakeholders
?? To regularly liaise with the Regional Manager and/or senior management team to identify any issues and concerns regarding study centre development within your geographical area to develop and implement positive change as and when required
?? To be assigned project work as and when required i.e. organising franchisee workshops, meetings and organising and co-ordinating franchisee events on a local and national level such as the franchisee Instructor conference
Who we are looking for
?? Passion of working the education sector
?? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
?? Flexibility to work extended hours
?? A full UK driving licence holder (Essential)
Language requirement
Knowledge of Japanese language and exposure to Japanese culture would be beneficial, but not mandatory
Qualification Requirements
?? Bachelor's degree
?? Minimum of grade B in GCSE maths and English (or equivalent)
?? Qualification relevant to education is highly advantageous but not essential
Location
London North - However, area managers are usually on the road and seldom in the office
