We are looking to fill a new vacancy to join our established team assisting in the year round Glasshouse operations at our Ickleton site.
Responsibilities: This is a very practical position with responsibilities including plant husbandry, sowing, a range of polytunnel tasks, crossing and harvesting of glasshouse material. There will also be an element of assisting with field work at peak periods of the year with duties including harvesting and assessment of material.
Post requires: Flexibility, positive attitude, ability to work as part of a team, willingness to learn, ability to prioritise and organise.
Position: Would suit an individual with minimum GCSE or equivalent pass in Maths, English & Science and basic I.T skills. Previous horticultural/glasshouse experience is preferable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
The position is at our Ickleton site and is a permanent, full-time position, working a basic 37.0 hours per week, with some weekend work and overtime required.
