Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Inventory Planner to maintain stock level to ensure on time deliveries to our customers. You will be responsible for inventory management and stock forecasting, planning optimal purchase quantities to ensure that they continue to meet customer demands. You will be expected to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, confirming any delays to shipments that could impact customers. With good IT skills, you will compile reports including supplier performance, inventory and pricing, analysing data and ensuring that all relevant details are available for various functions across the company. You will raise purchase orders, maintaining accurate order / supplier details and update delivery dates.
With experience in a similar role, you will have a Planning background in both MPS and DRP coupled with Inventory Management experience. You will have strong data analysis and numerical skills with a meticulous approach to work. Customer-focused, you will be accustomed to working with high volume stock keeping units (SKUs) and will be comfortable working and adhering to set deadlines. A team player, you will also have the ability to work autonomously and juggle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
