A fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking Accountancy firm that is growing and looking to build their senior level to allow for further expansion. The person needs to be able to implement improvements and be a good communicator as well as have a good business acumen.
They are looking for a fully qualified accountant with at least 3 years working in practice to help propel the practice forward, happy to be client facing and manage a team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and reviewing yearend accounts for limited company, sole trader and LLP's.
- Review of working papers.
- Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations, UK deferred tax computation and tax reconciliations.
- Management and delivery of financial reporting and KPIs
- Production of management accounts
- Ad hoc work and investigation for clients and be able to research what is required and able to develop work streams and services
- Meet with clients
- Self-assessment management
- Open to change and development
- Use online accounting software and other technology
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Cashflow management
- Meet with prospects and create proposals for work using software
- Manage a team
For the right person there will be international travel once a year and the potential to grow their role in areas they have an interest in.
Benefits include 25 days holiday and normal pension scheme.
