Due to retirement, Michael Yoakley's Charity is recruiting for a new
Head of Maintenance at its unique facility for the elderly comprising 48 almshouses and a residential care home in Margate.
The role involves taking overall responsibility for repairs and maintenance of all the properties on site. Most of the almshouses are Grade 2 listed.
Qualification in either plumbing or carpentry, and all round general building maintenance experience would be an advantage.
The role involves working with vulnerable elderly people so a clear DBS check will be required.
This is a full time 40 hour weekday role, with oncall evening and weekend duties for emergencies to be shared with one other.
